I have collected some information, as you probably noticed and now I am starting to think about my final outcome, which is going to be a website. This is going to be a big challenge for me because I have never created websites before, so I will try my best.
I have checked some designs by looking at different websites and already found something interesting, although I might not be able to create something outstanding and amazing I will try to go as far as I can.

Everyone knows who Paris Hilton is! She is a daughter of Richard Hilton, American celebrity and socialite. She is popular for her partying, acting and singing and always has been widely discussed by the tabloid media.
Her recent teenage comedy ‘Pledge This!’ has been has been very popular in Russia, so as interesting as it sounds one of the Russian celebrities - Ksenia Sobchak ( the step-daughter of the first democratically-elected mayor of Saint Petersburg Anatoly Sobchak), known as a glamorous presenter of the reality show , a career celebrity, the darling of Russian tabloids, the most eligible bachelorette in Moscow, and Moscow's answer to Paris Hilton, Russia's chief ‘it’ girl, has translated Paris Hilton’s voice in to Russian in ‘Pledge This!’ movie, and also started her own reality show called ‘Blonde in Chocolate’ – which is a prototype of Paris Hilton’s movie.
The reality show is Ksenia Sobchak’s own sight at everyday lives of the mega city. Shootings, business meetings, secular actions, playing sports, meetings with friends! Together with Ksenia the audience can appear in the most cult and pathos places where the entrance for the usual citizens is closed, she shows everyone how Moscow lives!

His 'Infinity' Club

Nowadays in Russia R&B and Hip Hop music are becoming more and more popular, influenced by western music and Hip Hop artists like P Diddy and Pharrel. One of the most popular artists of Hip Hop and R&B music in Russia is called Timati. You can see him on the picture with P Diddy above. Of course he is not the only one, but he is probably the most promoted and known in Russia now. He has also opened couple of R&B clubs in Moscow, which are very in style and well liked by Russian young people. Timati is also wearing clothes from Pharrel his BBC brand and recently has started his own clothes range called ‘Black Star by Timati’. He is also one of the founders of such popular clubs like ‘Infinity’ – which is the biggest R&B Club in Russia, ‘Black October Bar’ and ‘Black Club’. Russians like to party very much, especially if it’s a fashionable and very trendy place.

Graffiti in Russia began in 1985 – the same time as brake dance became popular. This is understandable since both are part of hip-hop culture. The first graffiti artists in Russia used to decorate festival scenery which - at their all immaturity - shook imagination of public not less, than dizzy pirouettes of dancers. Recently our graffiti became noticeably younger. Where the first thirty-year old artists of " the first appeal " who practically had to reach all with their own minds, now more often it is possible to see the beginners which are twice younger than them.

Skateboarding in Russia

Years ago skateboarding was not trendy and popular; it was very difficult to go in a skate shop and just buy the equipments, because there was no skate shops at all. In those days, when all skate stuff was impossible to get there was not even a word about sponsorship … Nowadays in Russia there are plenty of shops, clubs, organizations and forums about skateboarding and people from all around Russia are talking part in world competitions.

This is "Cheburashka", Russian cartoon hero (also known in Japan and America) - who became an official emblem of Russian representative sport team in Olympic Games in 2004.

For today streets of the city, teenagers’ fashion is completely different from about 10 years ago. Street – is a stage for young people on which their contest is continuous. Everyone tries to be noticed with something and by that to draw to themselves attention. The creative clothes, footwear, hand made and many other things help to stand out and be different.

What is in fashion now?

Today on Moscow streets there are plenty of girls who are covered by images of skulls. Some have it on their belts, some on their vests. Also there are handbags of ‘Cheerful Roger ’, reminding the teddy bear and rings, bracelets, brooches. Symbolism of death today in fashion! The Russian fashion designers do not lag behind the western colleagues and also use threatening emblem of death in their clothes designs. (from 'Russian Fashion Week').

ABRACADABRA - The International Festival of Electronic Music and Media Art

What will be music of the future like? It can be established only by practical consideration. The ‘Abracadabra’ also is such experiment. The purpose of the festival is the integration of modern Russian audiovisual culture into the world. Abracadabra Festival is a review of all new and advanced that occurs in music and media-art. In April, 2007 In Moscow its art will be shown by the Russian and foreign actors, whose creativity does not keep within standard rules. Experiment" and "experience" are the major categories for them, and search is appreciated above glory or benefit. Besides the isolated galleries and promotion associations, in Moscow no one tried to systematize these directions of music and art in such scale which Abracadabra is planning to. The musical program is supervised by the American composer and teacher of University of Berkeley Keith Fullerton Whitman and is presented by performance by Daddy G (one of founders of group Massive Attack) and DJ Queen Bee.

Rock Fesitval in Russia
